Hi Greg. I'm using the 251 pulley on the 265. It's a one-piece pulley, with the stamped pulley attached to the hub, no bolts holding them together. The pulley that came with the 265 has a separate hub and then pulleys and a damper that attach with 5 or 6 bolts. But, the 265 pulley places the pulley much closer to the engine than the 251's. I can fix that using the 251's water pump, but now my alternator (with its mounts from the 251, did not get those with the 265) doesn't line up its pulley.
What does the pulley from a 251 on a PW look like? Is it the single unit I have, or a separate pulley attached to a hub with bolts? I'm beginning to think that's the issue.
