None of of these are much good in real winter!
A winter rated snow radial will run circles around those 12 ply mud tires, and the the XZL's
I have some Goodyear Mud and snow tires that have a similar tread and my truck lives in chains all winter long plowing.
I am going to purchase for a dedicated snow tire soon. Maybe in other parts of the country where the snow is dry the 12 ply tires will work.. but the Goodyears accelerate sideways and downhill when you don't want them to.. Just my experience. .
