I added a couple of ounces of STP to the steering box on my power giant yesterday. I was unshur if there was anything in it all. This morning it was all on the floor of the shop. i looked in the repair manual and there is very little about servicing it. Without taking it apart to find out what kind of seal is behind the cover i was wondering if pumping grease in the unit would serfice instead of the oil? Has anyone tried this? White lithium does not get to stiff in winter and it is not too thick. Would save having to take colomb back out and rebuiling it. Steering feels fine now but have not driven it yet. Thanks for any insite.
