I have converted my '67 D100 and '85 W150 to LED headlights. I don't recall the housings I used on the '67. On the '85 I used the HELLA 003427811 housings for H2 bulbs and then H2 LED conversion bulbs. I used the same LED H2 conversion bulbs in both trucks. The Hella housing gives a pattern that is superior to the pattern of whatever I used on the '67.
One down side to the LED headlights is when driving in snowing conditions, snow will build up on the lens and have a very negative affect on the performance. With the regular sealed bulbs the heat induced on the lens helps it melt off. The LED bulbs run so much cooler that the snow builds up instead of melting off.
