Hi John, if it has 4.88’s you’d be OK. If they’re 5.88 that’ll be real slow. So the 89-93 Dodge Cummins either came with 3.53 (most common) or they had 4.10’s (mostly in dually 350’s) So the 4.10’s…nobody likes them. Bad fuel economy, slow…like max 70mph on the hwy & Cummins engines don’t like running at tbat rpm for any length of time. Those engines like to run at like 2200 max. So…keep in mind that’s with a 32” diameter tire. So you go to a 36” tire on a W300 & that’s gonna be a little better but still…4.10’s would be ideal.
Second, I don’t think you’ll fit the 6BT without a doghouse in the firewall. You might be able to do it if you run an electric fan pushing from the front but no way if you run the mechanical fan. I’ve never seen it done anyway. Sam Goin in TX has done it…ask BZ for his number. He could tell you all about it. Good luck & post pics!
