If they are the leather seal type, they are very hard to extract without the proper tool. You can remove the two front seal/bearing retainers once the driveshaft/yoke is removed and knock out the seal. If you decide to replace the front that way, you have to put pressure on the TC splined shaft to hold it in place. The spline shaft for the intermediate shaft has 70 loose roller bearing and if to don't hold the shaft in place as you remove the retainer, it may be pulled forward dropping the rollers. The rear retainers I would leave in place, more work, and try to remove the seals another way.

The easiest way I found is to use a narrow chisel and cut the front side of the seal, then use a blunt punch to cave it in some. That usually is enough to release tension and pry it out using a screwdriver or other tool. Link to seal numbers.
