Yeah, it may be different between the car and truck where the truck uses the back housing and and pump where the car doesn't. I guess we need to know if his engine code on on the left side has a D, I or T as the starting letter. I think he said in prior posts it came from a car, but I can't remember for sure. If it did come from a car, that might be why things aren't lining up due to different parts, a difference in crankshafts length. Just looking at his pump, the pulley looks to be extended forward more that a 230 pump, but I can't tell for sure. He may have to just jerry-rid parts to make it all work or if the 60's radiator has the outlet on the lower right side, I don't see any reason he can't use the 230/251 pump with metal water tube and hoses. If it were me, I would get the 230 pump, see it that aligns the crank and water pump pulleys, alternator mount can always be re-worked and he can return the pump if it doesn't but he would know then what he needs to do to make it all work.
