Hi Bruce, hope you get her figured out. I’m no expert on Cummins motors. I’m fighting with a 1st Gen right now. I turned the pump up a bit & put in a set of injectors & I just hate working on fuel related issues on these motors. Torque the injectors all down & put all new copper washers etc, hook all the return line back up…all new copper washer…start her up…o e injector leaking?? Huh? Is it the line? Nope…the return line…nope. The injectors leaking at the head? Hmmm…take all the lines back off…take all the return line bolts back out, retorque #6 injector. Put it all back together…still leaking. Take it all back apart…pull the injector. Put a new copper washer at the base. Get a bore brush & really clean the seat. Looks clean with a bore scope. Put it all back together…2 of the others are leaking now!!! Sheesh man. I think I finally got it fixed but it’s a real pain & it’s also too hot out to be working on a hot diesel :)
